Amigurumi Cute Monkey Free Pattern

Abbrevations:  

ch – chain  

sc – single crochet  

sl-st – slip stitch  

inc – increase (2 columns in one loop of the previous row)  

dec – decrease (2 columns with one vertex)  

Head + body + legs  

We start knitting with yellow yarn:  

1 row: cast on 6 ch, from 2 sts from the hook – 4 sc, 3 sc in one loop, on the other side of the chain – 3 sc, inc = 12  

2nd row: inc, 3 sc, 3 inc, 3 sc, 2 inc = 18  

3rd row: inc, 4 sc, (sc, inc) x 3, 5 sc, 2 inc = 24  

4th row: 2 sc, inc, 3 sc, (2 sc, inc) х 3, 3 sc, (2 sc, inc) х2 = 30  

5th row: inc, 5 sc, 2 inc, 4 sc, inc, (3 sc, inc) x2, 9 sc = 36  

6 row: 2 sc, inc, 8 sc, inc, 3 sc, inc, 4 sc, inc, 8 sc, inc, 3 sc, inc, 2 sc = 42  

7 row: 4 sc, inc, 8 sc, inc, (5 sc, inc) х 2, 9 sc, inc, 4 sc, inc, sc = 48  

8 row: 48 sc

Sew medium 3 stitches together, leaving 15 stitches per legs.

Sew 6 stitches in the center  

42 row: 15 sc  

43 row: behind the back half loops 15 sc  

44 row: dec, 11 sc, dec = 13  

45 row: sc, 6 dec = 7  

Sew the hole.  

Repeat rows 42 to 45 for the second leg.  

Attach yarn to Row 43 half loop and work in 15 sc.  

We attach the thread to the 37th row half-loop and knit 15 sl-st.  

For straps, dial 20 ch.  

Handles (2 parts) monkey  

We start knitting in yellow:  

1st row: 6 sc into magic ring  

2nd row: 6 increments = 12  

3rd row: (2 sc, dec) x 3 = 9, change to white yarn:  

4th row: 9 sc  

5 row: behind the back half loop 9 sc, change to beige:  

6-7 row: 9 sc, change to white:  

8-9 row: 9 sc, change to beige:  

10 row: 7 sc, dec = 8  

Cut and fasten the thread.  

Attach white yarn to half loop of row 5 of hand and knit 9 sc.  

Ears  

Yellow yarn (2 parts):  

1st row: 8 sc into magic ring  

2nd row: 8 increments = 16  

3rd row: (sc, inc) x6, ch, turn  

4th row: 18 sc  

White yarn (2 parts):  

1st row: 8 sc into magic ring  

2nd row: 6 increments = 12 (we do not tie 2 loops)  

Sew both parts. Sew on between 14 and 19 rows of the head.  

Hair  

Cast on 6 ch with yellow yarn.  

From 2nd loop from hook: 5 sc, 7 ch, from 2 loops from hook – 6 sc.  

Tail  

Yellow yarn:  

1st row: 6 sc into magic ring  

Row 2-20: 6 sc  

Hat  

Black yarn:  

1st row: 6 sc into magic ring  

2nd row: 6 increments = 12  

3 row: behind the back half loop 12 sc  

4-5 row: 12 sc  

6 row: for the front half loop (sc, inc) x6 = 18  

7 row: (2 sc, inc) x6 = 24  

8 row: white yarn 24 sl-st.
