Work directly onto the wig by attaching curls with sc.

ch 45, from 2nd ch from hook: 8 inc, 35 sc, 1 sc into wig base (each st of the wig gets a curl) 

Short curls (14 pcs): 

ch 18, from 2nd ch: 16 sc, 1 sc into base, skip 1 st of the wig base (i.e., short curls are added every other stitch) 

Long curls go to the front of the wig. Pin them back and sew in place. 

HAIRBAND
