Materials Required 

Yarn “Children’s Novelty” from Pekhorka 200m/50g 

Stuffing (polyester fiberfill, synthetic padding, etc.) 

Crochet hook 1.75mm 

Large needle for sewing pieces together, scissors 

2 beads for eyes, diameter=8mm 

2 buttons for decoration 

Stitch marker 

Embroidery floss PNK named after Kirov No. 7214 (black) for embroidering the nose 

When using these materials, the toy size is 20-21 cm. 

Abbreviations 

CH: magic ring (amigurumi ring) 

Ch: chain stitch 

Sl st: slip stitch 

Sc: single crochet 

Inc: increase 

Dec: decrease 

Hdc: half double crochet 

Tr: treble crochet 

Dc: double crochet

Note 

The toy is crocheted in a spiral unless otherwise stated in the instructions. 

All pieces are stuffed as you work, unless stated otherwise. 

Use a stitch marker to keep track of the beginning of the round. If you don’t have a special stitch marker, you can use a contrasting piece of yarn or a paperclip. 

For neater decreases, I use the following method (see photo). 

You can use any yarn for crocheting the toy; the size of the toy depends on the yarn weight and crochet tension.

Embroider the nose using embroidery floss (I used 6 strands). Sew on the eyes and embroider eyebrows and eyelashes (I used 2 strands for separation). For the boy, do not embroider eyelashes.

Attach yarn in the 12th round where you worked in the back loops. 

Rnd 1: Ch 2, hdc 2 in same st, 1 hdc in each st around, sl st to join. (96) 

Rnd 2-4: Ch 2, hdc 1 in each st around, sl st to join. (96) 

Fasten off and weave in ends. 

Then attach yarn in the 13th round where you worked in the back loops. 

Rnd 1: Ch 2, hdc 2 in same st, 1 hdc in each st around, sl st to join. (96) 

Rnd 2-3: Ch 2, hdc 1 in each st around, sl st to join. (96) 

Fasten off and weave in ends. 

Bow 

Ch 4, sl st in the first ch to form a ring, ch 4, 3 dc in the ring, ch 4, sl st in the ring, repeat from * to * once more, ch 4, 3 dc in the ring, ch 4, sl st in the ring. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. Wrap yarn around the center of the bow and secure it. Sew the bow onto the skirt. 

Sew 2 buttons on the shirt. 

The girl is ready! 

Coverall 

Work in turning rows. 

Important: Make sure the piece is centered. 

In row 13A, attach yarn, then continue as follows: 

Rows 1-5: Ch, 10 sc, ch. 

Fasten off and cut yarn. 

Crochet 2 straps. They are made of chains; the number may vary, I made 30 chains. 

Sew buttons. 

The boy is ready!
