Materials needed: 

Yarn for the cat: Himalaya Dolphin Baby, 4.0 mm hook 

Yarn for the sweater: YarnArt Jeans, 2-2.5 mm hook 

12 mm or 14 mm safety eyes

Head: 

Start with a magic ring. 

Round 1: 6 sc in the magic ring. (6) 

Round 2: Inc in each st around. (12) 

Round 3: (Sc, inc) repeat around. (18) 

Round 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat around. (24) 

Round 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat around. (30) 

Round 6-12: 30 sc (7 rounds) 

Round 13: (3 sc, dec) repeat around. (24) 

Round 14: (2 sc, dec) repeat around. (18) 

Attach the safety eyes between rounds 9 and 10, 7 stitches apart. 

Body: 

Round 1: Ch 2, 6 hdc in the second ch from the hook. (6) 

Round 2: Inc in each st around. (12) 

Round 3: (1 hdc, inc) repeat around. (18) 

Round 4: (2 hdc, inc) repeat around. (24) 

Round 5: (3 hdc, inc) repeat around. (30)

Arms (make 2):

Stuff only the bottom part up to round 4. Fold the piece in half and sc across 4 stitches to close. Attach the arms to the body with a 5-stitch gap between them. 

Legs (make 2): 

Start with a magic ring. 

Round 1: 1 sc, inc, 2 sc, 3 sc in the last st, turn, 3 sc. (10) 

Round 2: 3 inc, 2 sc, 3 inc, 2 sc. (16) 

Round 3: (1 sc, inc) 3 times, 2 sc, (1 sc, inc) 3 times, 2 sc. (22) 

Round 4-5: 22 sc (2 rounds) 

Round 6: 3 dec, 2 sc, (1 sc, dec) 3 times, 5 sc. (16) 

Round 7: 2 dec, 2 sc, (1 sc, dec) 2 times, 4 sc. (12) 

Round 8-14: 12 sc (7 rounds) 

Crochet 4 more sc, stuff the leg completely, then fold the piece in half and sc across 6 stitches to close. Attach the legs between rounds 8 and 9 on the body. 

Tail: 

Join the yarn between rounds 6 and 7 of the body, chain 6, skip the first chain, and sc in the next 5 chains. Finish off and hide the tail. 

Ears (make 2): 

Ch 4. 

Round 1: 2 sc in the second ch from the hook, 3 sc in the last ch, turn, 2 sc. (7)

Sweater: 

Ch 37. 

Row 1: Starting from the 3rd ch from the hook, dc in the next 35 stitches. Turn.

To make sleeves, attach the yarn to the armholes, ch 2, and work 3 rounds of hdc, with 8 stitches along the chains and 8 stitches along the bottom. You can also add 1 hdc in each corner, making a total of 18 stitches for each sleeve. 

Put the sweater on the cat and sew the edges together.
